You may have heard of an old saying like: “You Are What You Eat”: or “Garbage In, Garbage Out:. Your mental health is important and a direct connection to your mental health is what you put in your body.

That goes for foods and also medications. And I hope not illegal drugs. All of these things can have a direct affect on your mental health. Poor diet, taking unnecessary medications or drug abuse could be polluting your body and causing your mental health problems.
