Love Is Kind

Is it to get someone to do what you want? Or is it to get a certain response out of your spouse, child, a loved one or an acquaintance? Knowing you should be kind and actually doing it are two very different things. Or using kindness to evoke a certain response to manipulate someone isn’t good either. “Love is kind or patient” is not just a bible verse but something you should really learn to practice as a reality in your life and not just the to get what you want.

Love Is Patient

In this video counselors Dr Kevon Owen and Brent Hazelrigg are talking about “Love is patient”. Yes this phrase is biblical. 1 Corinthians 13:4 says “Love is patient”. This rings very true for me as it should you. We get so busy with everyday life and other things that we can become impatient with the ones we do love. We want things in life to work out according to our timetable. That may not be God’s timetable. Learning to discipline ourselves to wait and understand and love our children or wives or significant others is a virtue.
