In this day and age humor should be used with a sense of boundaries. Everyone these days seems to be offended over just about anything so use discretion in your humor.

Humor can be used for many things. It can help when used in a self deprecating way at times. Also people use humor when they are insecure and seek approval. This isn’t always good. Don’t use humor at someone else’s expense. And don’t let humor that you might use make others feel less about themselves and you feel superior. Thats unhealthy.

You may have heard the term “know your audience:. Not everyone is ready for your humor and not everyone will find your humor funny and may well be offended by what you are saying. Set some boundaries for yourself as to when to use humor and know who you are dealing with. The phrase “change your mind and change your life”. comes to mind. No matter who you are, how old you are, where you came from, look for the good or positive things in life. There is plenty of bad or negative issues to go around for everyone but the difference is you don’t have to choose that for yourself.

They Won’t Say They’re Sorry

In life you may have a friend, acquaintances, relatives that wrong you or hurt you. But they won’t for whatever reason apologize. Kind of strange I suppose.

There are all kinds of people that can’t for many reasons apologize. About anything! How bad do you need this apology? Can you forgive and just let it go? Some people can, some not so much.

People who hurt others sometimes just refuse to apologize. They just can’t bring themselves to do that. Their reasons may never be known. It comes back to you now. Can you be the bigger person and forgive them for what they have done to you?

That can be a very difficult issue that only you can work through. One thought comes to mind. God through Christ has forgiven us for our trespasses and sins as the Bible says. We didn’t deserve forgiveness. Jesus died for us when we needed forgiveness. Can you forgive someone who has done something wrong to us in some way. Can you forgive even when they can’t or won’t?

Only you can answer this question. If you have issues with someone who has wronged you and you are the one who deserves an apology and you are having difficulty letting go or forgiving them for their actions. Speaking with a counselor could be of great help in achieving this.

Anxiety or feeling anxious is just part of being human. Feeling anxious is very normal at times. It’s more what you do with your anxiety.

If you let feeling anxious just take over yourself that’s not good. You can and should put feeling anxious in it’s place. Replace it with a positive outlook. Let that positive feeling takeover and see what you can do and also accomplish with it.

A positive outlook can really affect every aspect of your life. Facing life daily with a positive outlook and looking forward to seeing what you can do with your day as opposed to dreading what you will be doing. Thats no way to live or get the best out of your life.

You children are very impressionable and could be led astray by peer pressure. Knowing who your kids are hanging out with and their parents will give you an idea what they may be exposed to.

If your kids are going to spend the night or weekend with another kid don’t you think it might be of importance knowing what they might be exposed to? Knowing your kids friend and their parents could be of utmost importance in protecting your child from an undesirable exposure to something you don’t approve of or possibly a dangerous situation.
