Tired Parents

Children can be very tiring with all their energy and constant movement, bickering and really just being kids.

If parents doesn’t take some time for themselves and decompress they will go into burn out and ultimately depression. This isn’t a good situation when you have little ones depending on them and the nurturing and love only a parent can provide. Getting Over Breakup

Different Political Views

Everyone has opinions and preferences. Political views these days can become very heated. Is it really that important to have a division over who someone voted for who? In everyday life most people don’t deal with these issues directly. We have elected officials that represent us for better or worse. In the grand scheme of life everyday these views can be talked about and discussed but alienating a close friend or child or other relative is just not worth the division and strife it can cause.

More Boundaries

Are your boundaries not being respected? Have you even set boundaries?
In life there needs to be boundaries set by you with others. Boundaries aren’t mean or hateful. Just a line you don’t want others to cross. These could be physical, mental and many more things.

Boundaries will help you to keep yourself in check and mentally well. A healthy relationship will respect boundaries. If they don’t this is a sign of disrespect. Some people have never set any boundaries with anyone and they wonder why they get angry and stressed out with other people. They have not set boundaries.

Difficult Kids

In this video counselors Dr Kevon Owen and Holly Shockley are talking about “Difficult Kids”.

Does your child or teenager seem impossible? No matter what you do it is always a struggle? They won’t listen to you or obey you? I have heard of some being described as monsters or beasts. Well there may be answers for you and your child.

A couple of things to check for are: Are you providing the example your child needs to see for proper behavior? Are you consistent with your teachings to your children? Do you live what you are asking them to do? As far as discipline are you consistent? Do you limit their phone or tablet just to give it back to them because they are annoying you? There is a better way.
